Versace

Versace

There isn’t a name around that’s recognised more in the world of fashion than that of Gianni Versace. Born in 1946 in south Italy, Versace got his start in fashion as a buyer for his mother’s clothing store. In 1974, Gianni Versace began designing fashions for Florentine Flowers. It was through his work there that he became recognised as one of the world’s most famous fashion designers. As Versace expanded his brand, he eventually branched out into the fragrance industry, producing a line of high-end Versace perfumes and colognes.

Recognised as being as chic and sexy as his fashions, Versace perfumes and colognes are as renowned as the designer himself. On July 15, 1997, Gianni Versace’s life was cut short when he was shot by serial killer Andrew Cunanan. Although the designers brilliant mind died with him, his legacy lives on through his influential designs that helped shaped today’s world of fashions and perfumes.
